Hi all.

I've been staring at Prowlers for quite some time. I'd like to know if anybody in the DC area would be willing to let me take theirs for a spin. And if I can convince my girlfriend to come along, I do realize there are only two seats, so I would hand you the keys to my C6 Vette if you wanted to check it out.

I have never driven a Prowler and just want to know if one would be right for me. I did also own an SSR a couple years back - I just LOVE the hotrod style - and I assume the Kats are totally different from everything I'm used to.

I'm in the Kingstowne area, just drop me a line =0)

Thanks
Dave

Do what I did, go to a dealer who has one on the lot and take it out for a test drive.

As to taking two of you together, it all depends on the dealership. Some dealers are covered and others are just paranoid.

Where you live should be fairly easy to find one on a lot.

p.s. You don't have to buy "that" car. I didn't.

Oh of course, Steve - the nearest one at a dealer, according to AutoTrader, at least, is 33 miles away, and I have been thinking about heading out there.

I just figured an owner would be more willing to share the good AND bad points while I tooled around with him in his machine =0) (Carefully, I might add - I bought my C6 in 2005 for MSRP so I know what it's like, for sure - then again I've put 31k miles on it because I just love driving =0) )

Welcome to the POA Dave. I'm sure if there are any folks in your area they'll chime in soon.

Hi Dave

I live near you, just outside of Fort Belvoir. I've got an Orange Prowler.

I might be able to help you out, but it won't be for at least a couple weeks. I've got a small maintenance problem and I don't want to drive it until I get it fixed. You can e-mail me at Bobji6@Hotmail.Com or call me on my cell at 571-245-5766.

Thanks Bob! I'm only about 4 miles from Belvoir or so - At least, from the gate they closed down at Beulah.

Couple weeks shouldn't be a problem, I can use it to convince my GF that Prowlers are cool, heh.

And orange is my favorite color (in general, not just prowlers), so forgive me if I get drool on it.

Thanks!
Dave
