Anyone who has a Tek Nek Childrens Prowler, please note this recall from July 17, 2003. Tek Nek Current Company Information: Email Address: customerservice@teknektoys.com Tek Nek Toys International, L.P. Here is the reply I received (04/30/07) from Tek Nek Toys: "There was a recall that involved battery chargers on Tek Nek 6-Volt Ride-On toys produced between July 1998 and April 2000. The recall did not include the battery or the toy itself. Tek Nek Toys cooperated with the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission to announce the recall, and replace chargers in all affected toys. It is possible you have a 6-volt charger that was included in the recall. Please provide the model number listed on the front of the charger, physical dimensions (length x width x height), and connector color. If we determine you have a recalled charger, we will be happy to send you a newer model." Here is the recall link: If in doubt, send them an email with your charger details just to make sure.
