Hi All, I bought my 99 used and bought an extended warranty, It is now going out and the company that bought the warranty thru says I can extend it a additional 5 years and 100,000 miles, does this sound to good to be true for $2100 or should I pass? what are your opinion.... Thanks |

My car is now 8 years old and I did not have an extended warranty. So far, I have not had any major problems. Others have. I think it is a personal preference and whether you really intend to keep the kat. This message has been edited by Dave Mills on 12-11-2006 at 03:03 PM |

Other info I forgot to supply is it covers only the engine and transmission and waterpump. It has no deductable and after the 5 years if you do not use it they return $1500. |

$600.00 for five years, I think it is worth the shot. $600.00 does not go very far on these cars and that is really what you are gambling. |

What's the name of the warranty company. You need to be carefull with aftermarket warranty company's. If the go belly up and change names every few years, who do think is going to give you your $1500? |
