Cool pic Wildcat. I am sure the newer folks enjoy seeing the shipping room for the first time. I enjoyed the pic even after being there a couple of times.
Ty-K, Good one.

The reds were backed up 400 deep at that time,,,,,dealers and customers didn't want them!! The reds were too slow,,,and buyers wanted the first run of silvers [faster] expected to be the next color Dealers had to heavily discount the reds to move them out

One thing good about the reds,,,,,,original batteries went five to seven years or more

I figured you waited for the grey one because of the lower prices for them. I wanted a RED one NOW, not next year. The good thing about the grey Prowlers is that almost anything you do to them, improves their looks. lol

I heard that when thay ran out of Red paint they decided to clear-coat over the remaining primered cars. Thus creating that unique silver/grey color found on the bottom of soup cans.

Robert - if I wanted a yellow taxi cab,,,,,I would have bought a used CHECKER.

Ed - anything looks better than stock, on any color. Platinum is worth more than a Campbell's soup can, lol.

The RED does not match the Campbell's label, it matches the contents of the can. It is a Chinese Red or tomato soup red for sure.
I heard someone wanted to paint a car Pink & Black, the Brokeback Mtn. edition. lol
