Of course it was Marty...but then I knew that after he told me that on the phone the other night. When we left for the cottage yesterday morning, it was 54 degrees. Last night, up here, it snowed 10 inches!! |

Well I just got dug out of a 7' snow drift off the siude of I 94....... It snowed 7 inches from the time I was 35 miles North of downtown Chicago until I got to Silver Lake over three hours later. Rain X does NOT work at 25 MPH and 2+ inches of snowfall per hour! But I made it somehow. I left Louisville with the top down and the stereo cranked up with 267 songs on my ipod - I didn't think it would take long enough to lusten to half of them on the way. Thanks Ray for the ride to Midway on Saturday and to Rick for the company and conversation. This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 01-23-2006 at 08:48 PM |
