looking for some advise. I may take a trip to look at a 2002 prowler has low miles & is inca gold. what do you think of this color? how good is a carfax report? any thing special to look at? thanks |

Look at the inside barrel of the rims for pitting, flaking. Look under the nose of the car, the clearance is only about 4 inches and they tend to get scraped. It should have front mud flaps to prevent stone chips down the side but they are a cheap fix. |

CARFAX REPORT may show vehicle in NO accidents. Many body shops do not report, so that doesn't mean a thing. I had a Carfax report on a Mustang GT I was looking at,,,,,showed clean and good. Car had been hit hard in front and left rear quarter panel. Use CARFAX to see how many owners and the location the car has been it. Look for car going through wholesale auctions as well,,,,,,that always throws a red flag up to me. jmo |

I bought a Gold Kat to repaint last year, but I have to admit, the longer I owned it the better I liked it gold.... ...I always look the interior of a car over really close....tells alot about how the car was cared for...look under the nose for scrapes... overall cleanliness tells alot also...

Seems like a lot make a big thing about nose scrapes,if you must get under the car on your back to see it what is the deal.Most have this scrape from parking stops.I myself would not worry about it unless it showed up when walking around it.Maybe I'm not pickey enought or should be. |

PS - and the nose scrapes are I think the main reason that 90% + of Prowler Owners park their cars backwards with nose forward. |

I got a nose scrape and am replacing the nose .... Prowlers are the most captivating interesting sexy car that you can get under 50 k so you go for it and good luck Welcome to ....XTC The car ROCKS you will see |

KatMat Mine is Candy Red, I like it the best of all, but I'm thinking about getting a second Prowler this year, I think it will be a "Gold" one. If not it will be Burnt Orange. But again I my get one of the new Camaro. Who knows!!!!!!!!! |
