Thanks to all who offered to help me with my shock problem, and a special thanks to 1buddyc in San Antonio for giving me such a good deal on the new shocks. I think It has been like this the whole time I have owned it, because with the the Koni's on the ride is SOOO much smoother than it was I can only imagine what the ride on a 2001 is supposed to be like. The repairs took the tech over 5 hours and when he released the shock the spring wedged in there and he had to cut it out. turns out the shock actually unscrewed itself and was not broken at all. By the way I just wanted to say hey to all the northerners out there as it was sunny and 85 degrees here in Houston today, so |

It has been in the 70s here for the past few days. I played golf Mon and Tue. and rode the m/c in a T shirt today. It is going to be cooler coming up but we will play golf Friday, probably. |

quote: Hey there Pharm. . . glad your kat is back on the road. And let me send you WARM greetings from New Hampshire. . .and also a thought. We may have cold and snow instead of year 'round warmth, but I can shovel snow. . .or with my H2, I can just drive over/through it. You can't shovel a Cat 3+ Hurricane. . . Bill and Sam, I agree with you guys. If we didn't get snow around here during the Winter months, I wouldn't have a chance to make any repairs or modifications that have to be made. All I can say is that I will DEFINITELY make up for my cats downtime as soon as Spring rolls around. We'll have snow for...at the most...3 months. No big deal to me. Have a good day everyone!!!
