I asked them to check if my hood shocks could be replaced under my extended warranty (they are completely shot). When my car was done, they told me they could... and that my power steering pump will be replaced under warranty too. I guess it was leaking and I didn't know it. There wasn't any residue on my garage floor. Anyway... the dealer doesn't have a prowler tech anymore but they sure seem interested in taking care of the car! So - next week I get new hood shocks and a power steering pump. I love that extended warranty!!! ------------------ |

Cliff -- From another Mulholland owner -- How many miles on your Kat? Did the shocks stop holding up the hood or were they leaking? Any symptoms from the power steering problem (squealing noises, hard turns)? Thanks. ------------------ |

Hi Jim, I have just over 20K on the kat. I did not notice anything on the power steering, it came as a complete shock. I would have noticed and I got home and saw leakage on the garage floor though. The hood shocks started giving out about a year ago. I have been just putting up with it and then I had the car in storage. They did not leak, they just lost their ability to hold the hood up. Hope that helps some. Cliff |

Good deal Cliff. My closest dealer when living in NY treated me like something he picked up on his shoe. |
