...I have had a deposit on one of these for 2 years or so.....I wouldn't pay $100K over sticker, I am stubborn and patient....looks like my turn at ownership may be near.....great info here....I had noticed advertised prices dropping alot lately, just wasn't paying real close attention.....thanx for the info....

I too have been looking for one, but will have to wait till I can get a new one for $100,00.00 under dealer sticker.

Yea, spend all that money and everyones rear main seal are going with 3-400 hundred miles on them. Typical Ford

When they start comming up used and under 100K I will be very very interested in picking one up.

I figure at least ~2 years or so for cars that were actually driven to hit that mark, with 3200 made its not a collector car.

Be nice Mr. Mcgoo! There is nothing on this earth made by man that is perfect. If the rear main really is leaking, I am sure FoMoCo is working on a fix.....my 2 cents!

TUIB There was an original GT40 at the Exotic Car Show in Manchester, NH. The guy purchased it 9 years ago. He found it in Hemmings. It was baby blue just like your picture. I was told by a friend that it was an old STP car but looking at your picture I only see a Gulf logo. I will e-mail you the pictures.

There are a few new GT40s around here in dealers. I have not asked about prices.
