A photo of the newspaper
Wisconsin Dells Events Section

Under the photo reads:
Leon Belardinelli came from Garden Prairie, Ill.
to tour around the Dells this week with 90 other
cars at the Prowler Online Association Convention
at the Wintergreen Resort. Less than 12,000 of the
Plymouth Prowlers were ever made and they're already
collector's items.

AC & TUIB were discussing how to hold up the food line
at the banquet then how many strawberry shortcake desserts they
would take to there rooms!!! The prime rib was to die for
perfect to melt in your mouth, chicken was the best as well. The caterers were terrific.
(Actually they were talking about how many mods they would
get at the auction!!!)And they Did BID them up!! Win????

I enjoyed seeing the rolling hills of the Dells again,
it has been many moons since visiting there. Nothing
like the flat lands of Florida!! Since I flew into town,
I stayed with friends that own Sunset Bay, http://www.sunsetbayresort.com/
if you go back to visit I can highly recommend
this resort as Prowler Family Friendly.!!
The view from the rooms of Lake Delton

Rolls of hay waiting for those farmers!!

There were several baby fawn's next to the road during the day
and we squealed the brakes on many times at night to miss
the deer.

Boat ride on the upper dells river
were the glaciers formed the canyons and layers
on the rocks, the kids love to climb so they can do
back flips into the water.

A view across Lake Delton,
many years ago they emptied the lake
to clean the bottom from years of debris."beer bottles"!!
Winter time the lake freezes over to ice skate & snow mobile.

Ravina Bay restaurant across the water from Tommy Bartlett's
Water show. Food & drinks are great while watching the
show and fireworks!!

They are definitely a collector's item if you do not desecrate them with weird paint schemes. I know of a guy who has about 15 of them, that is a collector.

Marji did not even have to be sharp to figure out the two of you. She took me aside and mentioned that you were both "way out there" and I thought she just meant in the parking lot. lol

I'm Leo!!!! It sure was a interesting trip and it looks like it will live on in print and memories. I see I got my name and picture in the paper. I didn't know that! A lady reporter came over to speak to me briefly and took my picture when I was cleaning my car. She asked some questions but I told her she would get better info from Ed or Real Rod and pointed her in their direction!

And I also recognize the infamous white van - I should keep that picture! Never could figure that guy out. I didn't know if it was me he was so upset with, or just All the Kats. The one time he pulled up along side of me he was yelling something, but I thought it was just another "car person" making some social comment. That opinion changed quickly when I thought he was going to throw something into my car. Since I wasn't interested in beer or pop or what ever, on my seats, I slowed down quickly and he pulled in front of me when the road narrowed. He stayed there making himself a real pain until Geno ran him off. Thanks again Geno, I'm not a good enough Kat driver to take him on. Even if I could, I figured he might just take on the next Kat in line so I figured if I just let him be, he might just get tired of acting like an *** and take off. Appears I was wrong.
