I found a good online source for the RAYBESTOS PGD730QS brake pads - I ordered them Tuesday and they arrived today. They were only $58.79 plus like 6 bucks for shipping I think. This might save you the hassle of having to special order them. The site uses a lot of java so it may take a while to come up if you're on dialup.

I do. I ordered the rear pads from Jeff Hunter, but apparently there's some sort of shortage since it took almost 2 months for him to get them in stock.

Dusti, the QS stands for quiet stop, I have been told. I do not know if that is correct.
Do you want me to look locally for some for you?

Hi Ed,
I thought you already left for the Dells

Thanks for your offer, actually I went to the website that Superdoppler recommended and was looking for THOSE particular pads but just found the 'other' ones I mentioned previously - it seemed I just couldn't find the QS at that website !

Seemed like a pretty good deal !

So, when are you leaving for the Dells, Ed ??

Just got this in e-mail this morning. Not a huge discount, but better than nothig if you're ordering parts anyway.

Thank you for being a www.RockAuto.com customer!

To show our appreciation, we would like to give you and your friends a special discount on auto parts.

Here's how it works:

- You give this discount code: 268730257150 to friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.
- When someone (including yourself) places an order at www.rockauto.com and enters your discount code, he or she will receive an immediate 5% discount on that order.
* If you are using our Java Catalog, enter your discount code in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart
* If you are using our non-Java Catalog, enter your the discount code in the "Discount Code" field of the Shopping Cart and click "Calculate Discount"
- The discount code expires on September 27, 2005; so don't wait!

You may use this discount code as often as you wish until it expires, but only one discount code can be used per order.

**Each month we see people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code.**

Please call or email if you have questions or suggestions. Thanks again for buying your auto parts at RockAuto!

Ever notice that ReyBestos brake pads 2X in price since they started sponsoring NASCAR?

Use the Wagner Ceramic ThermoQuiet Brake Pads (PD730) cost $38.00 and are just as good if not better. Most local auto stores have them or order them online www.rockauto.com I have these on all three of my cars/trucks
