I think I found my Dream car in the Scottsdale AZ area and I live in NY ,so I was going to use a auto inspection service( like coast to coast inspections, cars online etc)
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with any of these or other companies or any prowler expert in that area that can help me out
Thanks
Chris

These people are good and do thier job well, but I think members on this site are experts since they own one and know these cars.So I am trying to say why not ask someone on this site in that area to take a look for you.If it was in my area I would be happy to do it.Give it a post and see what reply you get.

Give it a day or two. The holiday weekend seems to have slowed this site somewhat.

RATT ROD,

I believe Alley Cats out of Mesa,AZ...how far is that from Scottsdale? If you ask him nicely maybe he'll check it out for you.

HE was nice enough to offer to do that but at this time he has to much going on to be able to look at the car.I totally understand and appreciate the fact that he would offer to help me a total stranger if he was able to.
Thanks for the suggestion though

I used that type of service when I bought my '01. They make a detailed inspection, provide pictures and will test drive it if you so desire(I did). The report and pictures got posted to their website and I was able purchase my kat with confidence.
Cost; about $100. Well worth it.

I have sent Chris all the info I can help him with at the present time. He caught me at a bad time,,,only days before leaving on our vacation, and I still have 40 hours of work to cover before leaving saturday morning. It sounds like a nice ride he is looking at,,,although I don't know the owner.

I've offered to help Chris with finding a transporter out of Az,,,if he buys the cat. Also, I suggested he fly to Phx and pick up the car and drive it back to N.Y. Told him you POA people would help him with the route, motels, road conditions, etc.

Sorry Chris,,,you just caught me during a crazy week of stuff to do before leaving on vacation. Good Luck!

Alley the Cat you are letting us down. What is this I HAVE A JOB CRAP? When a friend is in need you should quit your job and help. (Your probably close to being fired anyway)It appears to me you have plenty of time for the computer. Now get out there and help.

MeanAs$ Meancat, Jerry - I have to work some to pay for my car mods, boating, golf, and vacation play time. Your right,,,I'm nearly ready to get fired at any time,,,,I often beg them to fire me so I can draw unemployment
One or two weeks ago,,,I would have jumped at the chance to help Chris out with this cat he is dreaming about,,,,just not able to this week. I explained all of that to him via email.

There are many Prowler owners here in the Phoenix area,,,lets see if anyone else wants to volunteer there time? I gave Chris my opinions about searching through Carfax first,,,,,find out how many owners the car has had,,,,where serviced,,,etc, etc, etc. I believe he has found a relatively nice cat to purchase, so I hope it all works out for him. Even have given advice for him concerning a car transporter,,,,if he needs one.

As for you MeanAs$ Jerry,,,,,you are suppose to be minding the Moddersville store today, and shouldn't have any time for being on the computer I ordered a pizza two hours ago,,,,and it still hasn't arrived at my door
I am working outside in 110 degree "dry heat" all day, and come into the house for short breaks,,,,that is when I get on the computer for five minutes. GET TO WORK!!!

No Jerry! Just that the 110 heat is getting to me working outside all day. I'd rather be in your walk-in box right now,,,,with a ice-cold 12 pack of beer!!

After a three hour wait,,,,my Moddersville Pizza showed up. You forgot the pineapple and mushrooms!

See ya soon,
AC

Rain? What is that? Haven't seen any measurable rain since early March. Just sun and the dry heat, lol. One thing about that,,,,,my yards are both desert. No watering or mowing the grass
