...there is no gold paint left anywhere....everything has been blacked out....the parts and panels are being sprayed tonite....I must admit, I like the color better than I expected.....very bright....anxious to see the final product....

hmmmmmm, what color next time ???

Tangled, What are the two straps going from the door sills to bottom of the frame? Are they a part of the car, or just something temporary during teardown?

Rainer: Those are the kevlar body tub tie downs. They are an extra precaution DC put on to keep the body tub linked to the frame. T

Why not have them rip the intake plenum and radiator support off and paint them the same orange????

As Tami said those are Kevlar straps for extra safty in an side impact or roll overs. Same material that's in a bullet proof vest.
