Pewter gets my vote,,,,,then the orange. I would get sick of lime real fast,,just me. Other options: Twinkies Beige or Cellulite White? |

Paint it primer, or suede. That's the next hot paint in my book. |

TUIB, I'm sorry...I don't care for either color. Unless they can be shot in a candy or a pearl? How about...

I do like the orange. My favorite would be candy Apple red. |

In reference to LIME are you thinking SUB LIME GREEN from the 70 Cuda's what shade of orange, HEMI ORANGE? My personal opinion neither color will look right on the cat. The Hemi orange with some extra gold flake in it (seen on a 69 Dart). The Lime will need some graphics on it to tone it down. (ever see a sub lime green challenger without the black stripes?) If I were painting it I would use transparent red on top of the gold for the 1st paint job. Then I would go with a pearl Yellow or Candy Tangerine. If you want the 70's colors one that I think would look good on it would be Curious Yellow. If you really want to go out on a limb paint it the new Mary Kay Pearl Pink, I LOVE THAT COLOR. The main thing is to paint it the color YOU want it, and knowing that you will paint it again in a year or two if you don't really like it start thinking about the next color sooner. |

Tangled look at your dash . If its anything like mine that would make an awsome color . looks like it has more yellow and metal flake in the gold !! |

I like the orange. Also VW bugs had a orange/melon color a few years ago that might look good. Don't do the lime or a light metallic green which seems to be coming back like on the new Mustang. What happened to the color you were thinking about before? |

Lime Green looks like my 70's 750cc Kawasaki road bike. Go with the Mary Kay pink and put a dealer decal on the back window and the women will be all over you-really! I agree with the suede-turn your Kat into a Rat-Rat Rod that is, just don't forget the Mexican blanket seat covers and paint the rims red with scuffed-up whitewall tires. Real helpful ain't I ! |
