Have seen several posts lately on the Prowler wheels pitting and loosing chrome plating on the inside. I have decided to paint mine black for the time being at least. BUT...I was walking yesterday thru a parking lot and noticed a Mercedes SLK convertible. The car was in very clean well taken care of condition overall, but I did notice the wheels, they were all four a mess on the inside. They looked far worse than my Prowlers and I'm sure that this Mercedes cost more (really just guessing, as I have no idea what they cost) than my kat and is a much newer car! They were pitted and it looked like the paint or whatever they use (not chrome)was peeling and stained. So looks to me like the Prowler is not alone on wheel problems. |

My wheels have gone from shabby to sickening... now everyone is starting to notice.... |

I'm going to paint mine black inside a couple days before the car show in June....i'll take a couple of before and after picts and post them then... |
