Curtis - sorry you all can't make it but I totally understand. Hope you get to enjoy the Krehel's Prolwer museum - it is a Prowler lover's heaven! Gary Archer helped me install the seats (I handed him the tools and fetched appropriate drinks. ) Monday evening. The waterfall and console will sure bring the whole interior together. You all have fun on your journey !! |

Marty the seats are really special. We have had the good fortune to be in the Kat Pack and have seen the seats. Should look great in the car. Best of Luck. Mike DQ Man This message has been edited by thedqman on 02-12-2005 at 06:41 AM |

Unfortunately the door panels did not survive. My door panels are covered in two tone gray tweed and have a lighter gray insert panle with "Prowler" embroidered on it. George Maxey told me the "brownish" color suede actually started out as a medium gray and I am hoping I can have the color restored or dyed to gray to match the one of the colors on my door panels. Of course I could always replace the door panels - so I have some options once I get the rest of the pieces. I hope some POA people get to see George Maxey's latest redition of his car at a car show in Northern Florida this weekend. Some of us will get to see it at Autorama in Detroit the first weekend of March. |

quote: CJ = that's the plan as of now. We plan to pick up Gary Archer's Prowler in Cleveland Friday afternoon and stay outside Toledo that night since there are no rooms available (reasonably priced) near downtown Detroit and get to COBO Hall Saturday AM. I emailed Bob and asked if you all were going but haven't heard back yet, so - are you all planning to be there??? This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 02-12-2005 at 11:05 PM |

I've got a Dremel tool. I'll need to buy the right epoxy and probable some clamps unless you have some of those you can bring. Thanks Can we do it Tuesday? It seems Monday is Valentine's Day so I have to take Reba to White Castle or some other romantic dinner place. |

Marty......of course we are going. We go every year. Why don't you stay at the Homestead Suites hotel (Dream Cruise) it's right off I-75 and doesn't take long to get to Cobo. Close to our house, too. |
