I'm currently placing my car on the selling block and need a better idea as to what my car is truly worth. Anyone have a good estimate as to what you think this vehicle is worth? It currently has 5700 miles and is in pristine condition. Any comments or feedback is appreciated. This message has been edited by Nekbreaker on 02-09-2005 at 11:18 AM |

Jerry - Any extended warranty coverage left on it? Pristine condition - Retail it to the right person who wants it, 35 to 37K. Otherwise, 28 to 32K. Good luck, looks like a super nice cat,,,,sorry you are selling it. I'd place a ad for it at: ------------------

I found my 99' through Autotrader. I bought it the day it showed up on their web site. That was in November. I agree with AC, these cars are changing hands everyday for 30k, but to the right person it may be worth 35k |

AC-Pantera sound about right. Seems they get more $$$$$ for them in California though. My advise keep it, store it, and you'll like what its worth in 15-20 years! If your bored with it just start doing some Mods, you won't be bored anymore. Thats what I like best about it its the fun doing all the Mods. ------------------ This message has been edited by CTProwler on 02-09-2005 at 07:07 AM |

...if you want to move it quickly....$29,9 seems to be a magic number to start with....if you have plenty of time you might try $34,9K.. ...I recently passed on a 2000 black with 3K miles for $32K....advertising it locally might bring you more $$$ than the POA board since most viewers here are up on the market value.... ...if it fits your family needs, just drive it a couple of years, maintain it and you will still get close the same $$$.....drivin' for free and havin' fun ain't all bad |

I bought my 2000 Black Kat with 1624 miles on it for 29,000. There is a market for everything you just have to find the buyer. Check out the local street meets and advertise it locally. |

It's really a factor of how fast you need to move it. The faster you need to move it, the lower the price. Location and time of year are another factor. Live in the snow country and you'll get alot less in the winter. It also depends on what you bought it for. Bought it right, you could sell it mid twenties and not be dinged too hard. Bought it WAY over sticker (~$60K) and selling it for even $37K will make you sick. Figure out how fast you need to move it and what you can live with (not necessarily what you want) and price it accordingly. List it with something with national exposure in addition to here. |

advertise in the Vancouver Sun paper.... you can get a bit more from a Canadian purchaser now that the cdn $ is .80... I believe one of the members from Alberta has theirs for sale now... its a 2000 black... do a search to check his pricing..... and remember.... black is not a color... it is the absence of all color |
