Out with the old
and in with the new Well I finally got my Cat home, even though I had to drive through rain and snow to do it. I was happy to find no leaks in the soft top. As you can see from the pic, I took "ed monahan" advice and put mud flaps on before I started my drive (it was a 225 mile trip). That saved a lot of cleaning, kinda wish I would have put them on the back after driving through that snow. Mods that I'm going to be making are....I have ceramic brake pads (another of ed's suggestions) for the front in my garage, which will be installed this weekend IF I can stop driving it long enough to do the work. On order are Mills' Turn Signal Relocation Kit and a Weekender from Bob Goetz. I also am looking at some of Jay's shimmer products. Only other exterior mods will be a little pen striping and maybe a grill. I would like to thank all the POA members for the warm welcome!!! ------------------ |

Nice car, great color. Glad you finally got it home. I like the old car, too. It looks to be in great shape. |

Older car looks to be a 28 Chevy with a unique emergency brake. |

Yep, it's a 1928 Chevy. As far as where it went, I gave it to one of my sons to sell. He is going to take it down to Los Angeles and market it there. I've had that car for 30 years. Hate to get ride of it, but it is that or a prowler and the cat won. ------------------ |

Bill: I have a 1928 Plymouth that I am unable to part with, so I built a bigger garage. There wasn't room, so I had to buy the house next door and tear it down. |
