I was thinking about setting up a Cruise through one of the area neighborhoods that is filled with lights. There is one off of Hwy249 where EVERY house is lit up.If there are others, let me know. I think it would be great if we had about 10 or more Prowlers in a row cruising through a neighborhood!! Theres one Problem though......They usually dont start the lights until about the 15th of December and everybody usually has the weekends booked up. Any interest??? Jacqueline & Don |

Sounds good to me - as long as its not raining! I just got finished with my lighting project a week ago - 40,000 lights wrapping the trees in front of the property! That's right - 40,000! Looks really good this year - I try to change it up each time. This is the most lights I've had up - took a lot to get the power set up straight. If I can get a picture to come out, I'll post it. ------------------ |

I'm interested. Let me know. If I remember right, that would be Prestonwood? I went thru there about 10 years ago or so and it was great. Highly recommended. Be prepared for a long, slow drive thru there. It's pretty popular. Have drinks or munchies with you and go to the bathroom before going in. |

If in the area, next Saturday night is the Clear Lake Christmas Boat parade. Typically between 150 - 200+ boats, ranging from 22' sailboats to 100' Hatteras outfit themselves with literally millions of lights, colors, music, and folks wearing costumes. It's a real treat to see if you haven't and there really is no bad place on the lake to see it from. It starts in South Shore Harbor (far West side), makes it's way East across the entire lake, out past restaurant row, into the bay, and back across the lake again. |

Here's the plan: Meet at Sam's Wholesale parking lot on 1960@249 Sunday evening December 19th @ 6:00 pm. From there we will go west on 249 about a mile and turn into Ponderosa subdivision. It takes about 3 FULL hours to go through the whole subdivision. If we all take our hand held radios we can stop at anytime and make our way out for a coffee or a bite to eat. Please confirm so I will know to go ahead with the plans........ Thanks, PS. Sorry guys......Jacquie says all her friends are taken for the Holidays. JMO.....I think they do that for the gifts.!!! lol This message has been edited by Kozican on 12-07-2004 at 06:04 PM |

Rich.......That would be fine! There are a whole bunch of places in that area. I'll list a few and we can choose by popular vote. Hooters.............NOT!!!!! just to name a few. My vote would be Fridays or Chili's Say we meet for dinner approximately at 5:00? Johnny, Glad you and Faye can come all that way!! The best directions for you would be: I-10 west to beltway 8 in Channelview. Go North on the Beltway to Hwy 249 and go west. From 249 take the FM1960 exit and go through the intersection and Sams Wholesale is there on the rt. Another way would be I-10 past downtown,610 loop west, to beltway 8 and go north to Hwy249. Go west on 249 to exit FM1960. Go through the intersection and Sams Wholesale is on the rt. My cell phone number is 281-827-6974 |
