can I tell without removing a front wheel if I have ceramic brake pads on my prowler? (other than dirty wheels)

If you wash your wheels until they sparkle & then drive a couple of miles & your wheels are dirty again. You don't have ceramic pads... Or if you want... Just lick them Just kidding...

burglarman,

It's going to be very difficult to tell if you have ceramics or factory brake pads w/o removing the front wheel. There are no obvious appearance differences between the two.

It might be easiest to do what was stated. Wipe 'em off, then drive a few miles and then wipe agaain with a Kleenex, you will know very quickly what type of pada are on your car.

I went four years TOO LONG with the factory pads. Ceramic pads are the ONLY way to go.

Ceramic pads are a MUST for any Prowler owner....unless you like cleaning your wheels every 20 miles.
