can I tell without removing a front wheel if I have ceramic brake pads on my prowler? (other than dirty wheels) |

If you wash your wheels until they sparkle & then drive a couple of miles & your wheels are dirty again. You don't have ceramic pads... Or if you want... Just lick them Just kidding... WildBill |

burglarman, It's going to be very difficult to tell if you have ceramics or factory brake pads w/o removing the front wheel. There are no obvious appearance differences between the two. It might be easiest to do what was stated. Wipe 'em off, then drive a few miles and then wipe agaain with a Kleenex, you will know very quickly what type of pada are on your car. I went four years TOO LONG with the factory pads. Ceramic pads are the ONLY way to go. ------------------ |

Ceramic pads are a MUST for any Prowler owner....unless you like cleaning your wheels every 20 miles. |
