Had the pleasure Saturday of running into a POA "lurker" in San Pedro. I was heading to my son's lacrosse game, and he was heading to the Toys For Tots event in one of the nicest Black Tie's I've seen - beautifully kept, with lots of attractive mods. Really a great looking car, as I'm sure everyone must have noticed at the event, and a nice guy, too. Wish we could have attended this year, but just couldn't swing it, schedule-wise this time.

Hope everyone at Toys For Tots gave him a nice welcome... says he doesn't do many events, maybe that will change.

Anyway, I spaced out and forgot to share phone numbers with ya, so if you read this and want to hook up some weekend to cruise Paseo del Mar/PV Drive, Long Beach, etc., just PM me on the boards here, or call my cell (213) 200-7488.

It was nice finally meeting another local owner!!!!

Don,
His name was Eric Flood and for a newbie, he can sure put away a lot of pizza. Seriously, he's a great guy and a welcomed asset to our group.

Eric's planning quite a few more mods in the near future for his beautiful Black Tie.

Larry, glad you met him...seemed like a real nice guy to me, too.

Don't know if there are many more mods to make to that car, but I sure liked it alot!!!!!

Nice to see some new people participating - hopefully, we get some local cruising time in if he reads this message.

Sorry I missed the event this year....

Hey Larry,

Did you also finish the take home pizza?? To my calculation, that's about 30 inch pizza that you've taken home.... You are so lucky that I did not bring my camera...

Yes, Eric is a really nice dude and glad I've met him...I even learned from him about my bumper covers' lights...They're LED...Duhhhh...That will tell you how much I really know about my car...Welcome to the POA Eric.
