Hi, UK Prowler here, I am looking for some help / advice about setting up the radio in my Silver 2000 Prowler. I cannot seem to tune it in to even numbered frequencies, for example ... I would like to tune it to 101.00 but can't, the radio either settles on 100.9 or 101.1. I have read the user manual but cannot seem to find anything to help me in this area. If anyone can assist in this matter I would be eternally grateful. Cheers, Mike |

Mike, I have a Red '99 on the radio, right hand side, there is a rocker switch that says TUNE if you tune your radio with that button just click it once up or down and you can tune the exact radio station one chick at a time. Bob |

M_Ross, you cannot stop the radios on even numbers. All of our radio stations are numbered on odd numbers. They will call the station Q102 but it is really 101.9. Nothing wrong with your radio, that is our numbering system. |

Hi Mike, Ed is correct !! The european stations are on "even" numbers while the U.S. stations are on "uneven" numbers ! I had a 1986 Pontiac Fiero while living in Germany at that time and was pretty mad since I did NOT get ANY local stations because of that ! |

Dusti, can you turn the radio upside down? If you do, does it work at all? |

Ed, I should READ the email before answering, Ed is right. Sorry about that. I went out in the garage and checked it out and sure enough it goes from 99.9 to 100.1 and skips over 100.0. How about Chrysler, is it sold over there, and order a UK radio that would fit. Bob |

I'm always happy to put my foot in my mouth,,,, So here it goes. - My BMW (in the manual for the radio) explained how to change from euro to US. radio stations by pushing and holding down the "M" key, - It is logical that all manufactures will program their radios to US. & EURO. to save the expense of actually making different radios for Export/Domestic sales. IN the Prowler books, or manual it would say. or even ask a PDI. Mechanic at your dealer. -Here is a fun bit of info for you. All BMW's will start with a magical Red key no matter what the car. this is used for shipping. Then at the dealer the PDI. mechanic programs the real keys (the ones you get) removing the red key program. Firegabe |

Bob, The Prowler has never been sold outside the US and Canada. Best regards, Kees |
