Left the homestead on Wensday Morning and returned today from a vist to see Amanda and Eric in So. Cal took our time and just enjoyed driveing SUNKIST with the gears it is a little tough on gas and at 70mph tach sits on 3,000 all the way on cruise control. What great therapy for this old mental case after sitting around the house all the way back to June. Saw a Silver cat pulling a trailer with a bra at highway 132 and I 5 on the way down honked and waved but needed gas so didnt chase him down then today saw a Red 99 on El Toro blvd near highway 5 in So-Cal but again honk and wave I think he saw us drove the 377.7 miles home in 5:47 minutes including stoping 4 times for gas 2 potty stops and a lunch stop but after the rain part of the way the car is really dirty.
we had fun nice to be back on the road for a short trip

Hey Curtis - glad to hear you got to enjoy some Prowlin'. I had to work all weekend. Besides, my car is still in Wisconsin. I pick it up later this week.

Pretty cool to see other Prowlers on one trip. I've driven thousand of miles on some trips and might be lucky to see one every ten trips.

Glad to hear you got a little seat time, Curtis. I have only seen Prowlers on the road about 5 times in my life, other than at events.
I think all the garage queens are part of the problem. In NJ I had several people tell me that they had never seen a Prowler and now they are seeing 20 all at once. I like seeing the 70 and 80 year olds sneaking over to take a peek at the hood badges to see what kind of car it is.
One guy from Conn. said he had never seen a Prowler but did not think it was odd since he lived in Conn. When we came home from Toronto, in upstate NY they were taking a picture of the car every 10 seconds, it seemed like.
