I sold my Alum. horse trailer yesterday... I want to buy another enclosed trailer, this time one that I could put the Prowler in if I wanted to.

After looking at old posts it seems a 20' bumper pull would work. Does it matter which brand? Any favorites?

Thanks!

Wells Cargo, they are more expensive than most, but worth it. JMO

I have a feather light, if I got another one I would make sure it had a middle door. Would be a lot easier to get in and out of the car when its in the trailer.

After hearing Well Cargo. I found this one at their site.

We just sold our trailer. The one we sold was a Haulmark. Having just completed my research on a replacement trailer, I would rank them 1. Wells Cargo, 2. Featherlite, 3. Haulmark. That said, I intend to buy another Haulmark. I pull the trailer a couple times a year and just do not see the need for the extra quality. If I were going to pull a lot, I would definitely go with Wells Cargo.

I just ordered a Horton Hauler V nose. This is the best. As many miles as we go to various car shows, I've looked at them all. My current trailer, a 24' Legacy is fine for someone that isn't going on lot's of long trips. Good luck on your hunt.

The drawback if there is one for the Wells Cargo (if there is one) seems to be the price. The lowest price I got for the above linked WC AutoSport was $7960.00, IF I went to Phoenix to pick it up... highest was $9300.00.

Haulmark has a similar set up, Ive been quoted $5600.00, there is no front door off of the V nose. Im not sure that door is worth an extra $2000.00 +.
It just seems to me when we load the trailers with stuff, what ever you need always seems to be in the front

Who makes the Legacy?

Al
What do you like about Classic Mfg?

Thanks for the help!

We use an open trailer, but buying a trailer is certainly a matter of preference, just like buying a car is. You will get lots of recommendations and ideas and you'll need to sort through them and buy what best suits your needs.
