out of the 11000 & some prowler made, how many are still on the road, i stumbled into a website a while ago that shows all the wrecked exotics, remember seeing 3 or 4 wrecked ones, the more that get wrecked, the more our cars will be worth & more spare parts are availible. But kats have 9 lives. |

I've only seen pictures of 10 or 15 in the last 5 years that were totaled. I'm sure there are many more..... |

It would be interesting to know, but I can't imagine there would ever be a way to find out. Probably not too many have been wrecked. |

A former member of the old Prowler club totaled his Purple driving it down to Florida in conjunction with his move there. He fell asleep at the wheel. He never replaced it, even though the insurance gave him full value of both the Prowler and the Prolwer trailer which was also totaled. He hit a Semi on an exit ramp to a rest stop. His only injuries where caused by the air bag. |

There is nothing I hate seeing more than a wrecked Prowler....but I guess it happens! Let's try and hope the number remains nominal... ------------------ |

I totaled one in 2001 but saw it on ebay. Someone was trying to sell it to rebuild it. He had already bought several parts for it. ------------------ |

In response to Jim R's link to Prowler Junk Yards..I noticed that there was a fender listed in a Pooler GA junkyard, I live in Pooler and have the only Prowler around, where heck did that fender come from? I better check my Kat and make sure nothing's missing! |

I knew we should have bought a 1999 totaled cat for $10,000 last year. Claimed total,,,but only had minor nose, left front bumper gone, and left front suspension torn off. Everything else looked perfect on the car. You snooze, you lose. |

How can you determine that from a DMV list? |

Orange, if you could get all 50 states to give you a list of all the Prowlers REGISTERED in their states, you would still be missing the cars that are stashed by dealers and supposedly are still for sale, and you would miss the cars that have been shipped overseas. You would also miss the cars that people do not put plates on every year since they are storing them until they are worth a fortune. They would need to run a program to kick out the VIN numbers and since the VIPER shares VIN with the Prowler you would never know. I am pretty sure there are 10,467 remaining. lol.
