What’s happening to all the great Prowler vendors? Just recently: Paxton S/C – Discontinued Hard Tops – Discontinued What’s next ? Is this just the normal cycle for vehicles that are discontinued? I sure hope Prowler Pro, Larry Lord, Real Rod, Tom Mills, Gary, Gold Coast and others stay in business. Your R&D efforts are greatly appreciated!!! - Kcat |

quote: I hope the other vendors stay around also. I think the majority of the Prowler owners who tend to modify , have already done so. The new owners are slowley trickling in at this point and not all want to modify. So the demand for the products has likely decreased. Also some of the vendors have not expanded their product line with new offerings to keep interest high. Real Rod is always coming up with something new so I think and hope Bob will be around for a long time. About the only thing Norb offered that I would still have been interested in would be a hardtop. It was low on my priority list however because of the price and I prefer Prolwin with the top down. If I only had a second Kat then it would have been high on my list. I hope Gary sticks around because there are still some chrome suspension and brake goodies on my list. |

We are all sorry to see TGF suspend their after market products. Norb and Metal Crafters are located very close to me and I have been friends with them for many years. I want to assure you that I have no intent of discontinuing my product line. I am currently looking at a couple of new items including a billet grill like the factory grill. I want to thank you for your past support and hope to continue to provide quality parts for your Prowlers for many years to come. ------------------ This message has been edited by GaryE on 09-08-2004 at 06:11 PM |

Sad, real sad. I always knew I would want a hardtop, but since I just got my car 6 months ago and I live in So. Cal, I thought I would (could) wait a few years to spend the money. TGF parts are awesome! I also wanted a supercharger. Again, car is new so I was planning to wait another 2 1/2 years after the warranty ran out to get one. I usually don't trust superchargers but my understanding from the board is that they were very reliable. Too bad for me and the rest of the prowler owners. |

WOW! I guess I need to go back to school and learn now to spell. The word "discount" in my original post was supposed to be "discontinuing". They say things start to fall apart after you turn 65, a recent birthday I want to forget. ------------------ |

It's unfortunate that we have lost a few vendors, but there are still a number of vendors who offer great product for the Prowlers. Keep supporting them! |
