This economy is terrible and so we slug along with it. Some are buying Prowlers and some are selling. There are still a few around. When the economy gets going, I predict there will be fewer Prowlers available and there will be a buying frenzy in a couple of years, say 5. We can all smile and feel comfort in the thought that some folks have just discovered art in motion, and we have been enjoying it since 1997!

What terrible economy are you living in?
Unemployment is down lower then under clinton. More jobs are being created. Durable goods purchases are up.

But, taking your assumption that we are in a terrible economy, the prowler came out in the high times of the economy (97) by 99, prices for these in alot of places already were dropping off considerably (still high economy).

The point being, don't expect this car (or any for that matter) to be a retirement investment any time soon.

There are ebbs and tides in everything. It is the pendulum effect. Things go down and then back up. They could not give the Hemis away back in the day. They came up with a great commercial and now the Hemi and Mopar muscle cars are sky high. You just have to pick which wave or which dip.
I agree with you Richard. The Prowler is timeless in design. Little kids love it. This will be their dream car in a few more years when they can drive.

To me, none of it matters. Unless I am totally destitute, I'll never sell my cats. I'll be leaving them to my two sons and hope they enjoy them as much as I do.

CJ: I agree with you. My cars will all be here for the kids to decide what to do unless something really drastic happens.

That means I have to buy two more Prowlers since I have 4 sons. This is getting expensive.

Good point and it will be a lot easier to keep it stock with the apparent lack of aftermarket items being available. I am sure glad I got a hardtop and a couple of trailers while the getting was good.
