I believe CJ mentioned there were under 300 "NEW" Prowlers left for sale at Dealers across the country......Should we start a count down so somebody can hold the title of owning the "Last New Prowler for Sale"? Who knows, I might be in the market by that time for a "replacement" as long as it is BLACK Mike, thats one you dont have BESIDES the KISS Prowler (had to throw that in there Mrs Judy) Koz |

I was surprised to see two Woodwords and two Black ties still new at dealerships. Is there a max amount of time Chrysler will allow a dealer to maintain a product on the floor and consider it New. Do they have to eventually title it or will it ever loose its warranty qualification. Are any of those located in the Pacific NW? Neat information, thanks. |

Sorry, all, I just revised the list again. I read some of it incorrectly and there are even less than I thought! Craig..........As far as I know, until the car is sold as new, the warranty would be in effect. The only car I show in the Pacific NW is a 2000 Black in WA. There are a number of cars that are actually being kept by the dealer, and are not for sale. For reasons I don't understand, they don't pay it off the floor plan and as a result, it stays on DC's unsold vehicle list. They have asked the dealer to remove these, but not all of them have done that. Bob......the Black Ties are located in VA and PA. Yes, we can still offer the Friends and Family Certificates. This is a no-hassle deal which allows you to purchase a Chrysler vehicle at 1% under the dealer invoice (not the sticker). When you are looking for a vehicle, you need to tell the dealer up-front that you have the opportunity to use a F&F certificate and will he accept that on the 300C (or any other vehicle you choose). The dealers are NOT obligated to honor this program. If the dealer will accept it, he should show you (upon request) the actual invoice on the car. You will see a price listed that has "PP" behind it. That stands for Preferred Price and is the price that is set by DC to sell the vehicle under this program. There is also a $25.00 processing fee. It's a simple, hassle-free deal. You do not need the cert number until you are ready to take delivery of the vehicle. Please give us a couple of days notice if you decide to purchase and need a number. I can be reached day or evening at 248.650.3321 or email me! ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

If people call a dealer and are told that the car is gone or sold, you ought to post that here. When I was checking on Candy Red, I had a list of 10. I think there were either two or 3 actually available. One dealership in Fla. supposedly had two but the salesman said they didn't have any. That may have been the dealership with the "Mahogany" Prowler or that may have been the dealership that the woman said, "Prowler? This is a Chrysler dealership!" I told her I was looking for a Chrysler Prowler. She told me they had a Crossfire. I told her "congratulations" and hung up. If you are told the car is gone, please post. |

CJ, thank you again for the info. The dealer in Tacoma is where we take our Katts for service. Their Black one is probably in storage. I had heard he had one still, but did not see it at the dealership, which is one of the reasons why I asked the question about how long the could be considered new on dealer inventory. Many of the remaining inventory may be in a similar situation, either kept for speculation or just collecting by dealer and not available for sell at this time. |

Jerry Scholten was attempting to explain it to me a little on the way to Texas. I guess you have to be in the car business to understand how all of that works. I did not understand how they can have the car, say they don't have the car, have it on the books but not be paying for it. I wonder if any of the rebate stuff is still in effect or if that expired long ago. I doubt if anyone knows EXACTLY how many are left unsold since there seems to be so many shenanigans pulled by the dealers. |

Well, I was trying to help one of our new owners find a car (which obviously he did). He called a dealer in South Dakota and was told that it wasn't for sale. Several days later, the dealer called him and asked if he was still interested. They made a deal, he has the car and now is on POA!! You never know until you ask.....make them a deal........ |
