Ok, this ought to start a good string,
I have a silver 02 with 6k on it and I'm thinking of trading
it in on a 97 with 900 miles on it what do you think ?

rougher ride, less HP. I'd keep the 02. 6k is like no miles unless you prefer purple.--JMO

You probably already know... there were only 98 of the 2002 silver Prowlers made. This makes your silver more rare than 99% of all other Prowlers.

I like Purple too--and that was my color of choice when looking...but I couldn't find one below $33k at the time and I talked Bill down to $25k on his (now my) RED '99, so I am HAPPY with the '99 RED. Now, if I could afford another Prowler, I would definitely get the Purple! I have LOVED that color since first introduced in '97--altho' I wouldn't consider a '97 due to 214 vs 253 HP, but a low-mileage Purple '99 is my NEXT Dream Car! So, I understand where 'Want one' is coming from...but I'd recommend keeping the '02, as well! Ty-K

Why not just keep the 02 and add a 99-that way you can't go wrong and you'll never regret the decision you made!
I agree with Butchcee in fairness...

I have a 97 and I know what you mean about a rough
ride, however I like the GO KART feel of this car.
I had a choice between a black 99 for 34,995 or my
97 for 30,995 and since the 97 had almost 10,000
miles less on it and was at a better price I chose
it. I did drive both cars before buying one.I went
from a 390 hp 03 Mustang Cobra so obviously was not concerned about horsepower as either one was
not going to be close to what I had.

I have a 99 and an 02.........the ride is definitely better in the 02, but I love both of them. I have Black and Candy Red...........it would be hard for me to choose between them.
