I am looking for a GPS antitheft system for my prowler. Does anyone know of one plus company name, brand, phone number etc.?

Thanks

The best one available here in Canada is the Boomerang II.
Your vehicle is tracked and you are notified as soon as your vehicle is moved without the transponder.

Brad you have mail.

I like it, but I don't like the $10 a month fee.

call your ins and tell them. once you hear what it will save you, $10 is a walk in the park.

They charge you $200 to recover your vehicle? That should be covered in the monthly fee.

I have Teletrac - unfortunately though, it is only available in Los Angeles.

If there is a monthly fee or recovery fee, don't forget that your insurance would most likely be lowered due to having an advanced theft recovery device on your kat. The cost may be offset by your insurance savings

Last week, 3 guys from L.A. robbed a bank about a mile from the house. The bank teller placed a GPS unit in the bag and they got caught after a shoot-out with the police. They had switched cars and it was only 6 or 7 minutes later. L.A. police were here in town looking for them since they were wanted for a two year robbery spree and one guy was on the most wanted list. They had gotten a tip that they were here.
The GPS played a huge role in that one.

Just heard on the news that they released two of the three last night since the Federal paperwork did not come thru. The paperwork arrived today and they are looking for them again. What a country.
