Rich Tilden's Modified Red Kat made it safe and sound from Florida to California...AND joined the first good weather NorCal cruize for the year.... From Krispy Kreme in Mountain View, up 4100 feet (on narrow unbelieveably winding roads!) to Lick Observatory (see Kat pix), and then winding back down to 'Junction' (biker bar in the middle of nowhere!), and finally back to civilization (???): Mountain Mike's pizza in Livermore... Rich....your car is in good hands...and with a great group of POA cruisers... This message has been edited by Bob Harder on 03-14-2004 at 10:43 PM |

Some good shots Bob, Hope all had as good as time as I did. BTW ,, in the backround is just one of many telescopes (?) that cover the mountain top. One of the big ones (200 inch) was about 1/4 mile away. This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 03-14-2004 at 09:17 PM |

The March Monthly Brunch.. witha Fun Bunch was truly ecstasy all the way. About 17 plethora-of-color Prowlers came stylin' and a cool dude from SoCal even joined in. The mello-yellos came out en masse however. Warm, just-right weather, hi70's/lo80's. Many positive thumbs up from the locals. This was our first cat-group encounter and blast it was! Attaboys to tireless JD, Phil and u go girl to Jane. Many contributed as well. It was awesome meeting all. Thanks for sharing you FUN... More pix to come??.. |

Glad to see my former love is keeping active in California. It's really great to find someone who wants a car the way I fixed it up - what with the pinstiped flames, blower, gears, Budniks, Dunlops, etc........... Be kind to this Red Kat whenever you see her and maybe her owner won't blow your doors off. The pictures turned out super!!!! (You can also see this Prowler on the Budnik website gallery.) |

I have to give it up to Rich for adding the mods and letting me adopt his baby. I thought there wasn't anything else to add...until I saw "the silver bullet". Sorry Rich, I know I won't be blowin this one, JD's got me. JD, Where can I get hooked up with the line lockers? What a great group of people. Talk about turnin heads...I guess thats what 17 kats will do. I had a blast and look forward to the next event. |

Yep, it was fun wasn't it. I got my line locks at Paxton, but they are over the counter. I have the car up on ramps and will go under tomorrow to get the brand name. Marc S, and a few others also have put them on, and maybe can chip in some info. Two weeks is Goodguys if you feel like showing your car with a bunch of other crazy guys. It's always fun, and there will be a few others to offer their tricks to you. I don't think you saw under the hood yet?? This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 03-16-2004 at 12:01 AM |

I ordered my line lock from Summit Racing. The whole kit including lines and fittings was under 100.00 at the time. SUM-760000 + SUM-G3904 Works great |

Hey NorKalKat bro... You say, "My cat will be blowin clouds of smoke soon". Well now, just make sure it'll will be the right kind of smoke.. that is tire smoke, NOT engine oil smoke right? Your RowdyRed is just too nice for you and Gaynelle to chill with around the CaliDelta and the bay area. Let's hook up this weekend with JD, DanP and all at the GoodGuys show. After 13 days of record heat here, we hope the weather will be fine. We'll be there Sunday. Should be fun. da'Great ObiWan, u goin? |
