Mike Krehel - I thought you were kidding me last night when called and said Norm had just told you my tranaxle blew on the dyno. He was trying trying to call me while we were talking. Norm was building me a 4.0 litre engine with target of 40 RWHP more than just the cams and heads and an additional 50 lb/ft of torque. Now I have to spend te dollars to rebuild the trans axle and Norms figures I should figures I should upgrade it so it will handle the extra power. I guess I will have to settle for the stock block with my current cams and heads. I was REALLY looking forward to giving Mike another11 second car 1o run agianst at the Texas Stampede. At least I wn't have have to go out and buy slicks now. |

I'm traveling for he next 9 days so Norm will ge it fixed and ready to go. I just wish had the 4.0 stroker under the hood when I picked it up. |

OK - that was Mike's payback for telling him last year that Norm had used Mike's stroker block that was sitting in his shop for my engine rebuild and he would just rebuild my 50,000 mile used block with three damaged pistons for his stroker engine. I didn't see anything wrong with that, do you?
