Nah, check out the whole lot at the root URL: http://www.wreckedexotics.com/prowler/ The yellow 1999 (?) 2nd row center is my favorite. Though I hope my orange doesn't wind up looking like the last in the 2nd row...the wheels go different directions!! While not a Prowler, I found the following one hilarious: While I've never driven one, I expect it takes a lot of skill to flip a viper (or at least a lot of booze...) ed |

Chris - sounds like you have been challenged to put in a real " spark plug in the tailpipe, running rich" flame thrower kit. Pauley - how did arrive at your 2.4 per week figure. My guess (and purely a guess) would be it would lower than that. Maybe someone in the insurance or body shop business knows of a formula for % of cars totalled compared to production numbers. But even that may be off since most Prowlers are not driven as often as the average vehicle. ------------------ |

Marty, are you challenging Pauley's scientific formula? It is the famous WAG formula. Known to all mankind. lol. I doubt there are 800 that are history, also. I wonder if there is a way to find out, but I doubt that, too. |

I would think the number of actual "totaled" out cats by insurance companies to be around 100 to 150 units, max. I also used the WAG formula to calculate, but added in one missing division character that Pauley forgot in the formula. |

revised estimate;;;;;;; '' 2.4/wk + [4x*p*gamma]/zē = 809/zē -{-gamma*p*x*(8/2)}-1=808 ... ...I had to go back and delete the one that went over the cliff at the smokies .... This message has been edited by pauley on 02-01-2004 at 01:05 PM |

you should also consider: how many were in serious wrecks, bought by body shops, repaired and put back into circulation ?? with the price of these cars and the rarity of them, they are very much in demand by body shops and hot rod builders alike just my thoughts !!! ------------------ |
