Now as you look at the picture we can all see that those are NOT PT Cruisers!!!! I can't believe they identified the cats incorrectly!.

The article goes on to say that "Parked beside them is a stretched PT Cruiser which is setting on a set of 20's."

I think I will send the author of the article a little note....

The photo which shows three of the same vehicle in the driveway were identified in your article as 2002 Pt Cruisers. The Black Prowler would be either a 1999 or 2000 model, the red would be a 1999 or 2000 model and the silver would be a 2000, 2001 or 2002 model. I think it's great that they are interested in Chrysler vehicles enough to own them, but it would have been nice if they had been correctly identified in the article. The Prowler is actually a pretty rare vehicle in that there were only 11,703 of them built in the 5-year life of the car. There are more Corvettes built in a month than there were Prowlers built in it's entire build life!

I belong to and am very active on a Prowler website called www.prowleronline.com We have over 3,000 members who take great pride in their Prowlers. The Prowler is an awesome vehicle, but it seems that the media has a difficult time giving it the respect it deserves. It would be nice if writers could at least identify it properly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Myles Kovacs at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas when he spent some time with my husband, Bob Longstreth, who works for DaimlerChrysler. Based on the knowledge and enthusiasm that Myles and his staff have of automobiles, I guess I am more than surprised that no one caught this error.
