Govenor Arnie saved my bacon just in time with the vehicle license fee reduction. went to the www.dmv.ca.gov, web site this am and got the new fee to pay for the cat so instead of over $800.00 it is now total, $293.00, So watch out guys my car will still be on the california highways. www,dmv.ca.gov for the new fee. block-buster ------------------ |

No kidding. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure he is going save me THOUSANDS in workman's comp insurance payments for my small company. Two things he promised he is already attacking. I'm pretty happy with his first two days of office. ------------------ |

Glad the "Govenator" saved you some bucks. In VA we still have the personal property tax, although it's been reduced in recent years. With the terrible financial woes in CA, you can expect reduced government services and tax increases in some other place to compensate for the lost revenue in car taxes. Anyway, I'm always glad when someone saves a buck! |

I also own a small company and have 2 vans with registration due. It would have cost $1300. Our employees like the new lower cost. They prefer to include the difference into a year end bonus instead of giving the $ to the state. We also are paying approx. 30% work. comp. rates. Go Governator |
