I stopped to get something to eat. As I was leaving I ran into a friend and we were talking looking at my prowler out the resturant window. An 86 year old gent went to turn left and swung right first and drove the side of his van along the front bumper. It skined the front bumper (looks like a bruise). My alarm was going crazy and he started to drive off. I caught him and he didn't even know he hit it. I took it to a dealer's auto body for an estimate. The front passanger side bumper they said needed to be replaced $860.01. I just want the car fixed right. Prowler Needs Help!!! Any suggestions? |

To bad about the misshap to your cat, but if no other damages, take the money and invest in a nice set of covers and remove the front bumpers, and with the change you can buy a set of cermaic front brake pads. Make the best of this bad deal and in time the hurt will ease, My cat got hit last year it came to $6,000.00 I fixed it for less then $2000.00. put the rest into a new trailer. I wish you well block-buster ------------------ |

Karidan: That's awful! Sorry to hear about the kat. I have my passenger side bumper off of my 2000 that's in excellent shape if you want it. Check out the classified section. It would be less without the other bumper. Then pocket the rest of the funds and do some other modifications. When I washed mine last weekend I noticed that when I drove it to work the last time apparently someone had backed into my back bumper. Just scuffed it a little and I think I can buff it out, but still made me mad. Tami This message has been edited by TFischer on 10-04-2003 at 09:09 AM |

quote: shouldn't matter what the cost is if it was the other guys fault. He did have insurance I hope. If he didn't yours would cover it (completely I think) and then go after him for the money. Good Luck |
