Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem with the lack of padding (read none) on the door arm rests? After just a short time my elbow feels like its resting on concrete. I can't imagine how anyone can take it on a long trip and not have a sore elbow. I remember in cars years ago generally they had a soft cushiony area for elbows/arms to rest on. Has anyone come up with an attractive pad to stick on? It is to the point where I had to stick a curved piece 3/4" thick foam insulation on the arm rest. It sure makes a big difference. |

I would suggest for long trips,,,,just steal a hotel towel to fold and use under your elbow. |

What really gets to me is the hand grip rim. It has a hard ring which protrudes from the arm rest and causes severe indentations on the bottom of my left arm. I solved the problem by stuffing an old sock into the hand grip hole. It doesn't all fit, so the part that stick out makes for a soft cusion. I can't say it looks attractive though. |

I drive with my left hand. I put my arm on top of the door. I need about 6 more inches of leg room but I am still keeping it. |

I usually put on an elbow pad...j/k...it is uncomfortable on log trips and your elbow seems to mesh into the arm rest with the heat. |

Great idea Kraut!! I didn't take any socks with me because I couldn't find a place to put them. Nice meeting you and Sandy. Looking foward to this again. |

I am short so this works for me. I tuck my left leg up against the seat. Rest my left arm on my leg and grip the bottom of the wheel at the 7 oclock postion. Very comfortable. My wife needs arm support so we carry small long narrow pillows in the car for her to rest her arms on. |
