I also posted this under the tech board: We have a 2000 Prowler with a sticker that says "Tuxedo Edition". It does NOT say "Black Tie". Has anyone else ever come across a Tuxedo Edition? I've never been able to find anything on it. Our Prowler looks like the Black Tie Edition, however the front bumpers are not black, they're silver. We've had her for about three years and haven't seen another.
Thanks for your help!

Kena

My guess is that this is a dealer painted car. There wwere no Chrysler produced "Tuxedos". The Black Tie was only for 2001. I have heard of a couple of Prowlers said to be "Tuxedo Editions" before, but again, these were not factory edition cars.

Hello,
Kena,
Please email me the Last 6 #s of the Vin and I will tell you if you have one of the 5 Black Ties that were made in 2000.
The other 163 were made in 2001.
Some were produced as DEALER painted cars, but there are 5 out there that were made as show cars by Chrysler.
Dont worry about emailing me the Vin..... It will be held in the strictest confidence.
Regards
Mike Marciano

Is there a pinstripe on it?
Dead center on the bottom of the trunk, IN the pinstripe, is there some type of "mark" ? That would be Dr Ru's signature and a number.
None of that may be on the 5 that Mike is talking about.

Thanks for all your input. When I get home I will send info on vin #, etc. Off hand I don't remember a pin stripe on the trunk.
