Finally have the car about the way I want it....slow to decide and slower to move.....didn't want it to look like a K-Mart Custom......TGF Grill, Hardtop, Real Rod side panels(excellent pieces for the $$$), Carlini bumper covers w/bullet lights.....chrome shifter and thats about it.....first pix I have ever taken of the car since it is done....still has only about 175 miles on it....Smokies trip will break it in

....The Alley Cat user fee would have thrown my budget into total disarray......have had TGF grills on several Kats.....I have a third grill(off the orange Kat) on a friends black Kat now....he is keeping in on the road till I get another Kat to put behind it ..........thanx for the kind words on the "KANDI"...I can take bad news too....if anyone has any other ideas to enhance the car, please speak up....I won't be insulted by any means....I tend to like cars smoothe and plain....difficult for me to make changes sometimes....I want this car to look clean and simple.... CT.....the Carlini covers look great but are somewhat of a pain to install, and the fit leaves a lot to be desired....put them on 3 Kats at one time....one pair was a perfect fit, one pair was pretty good, and the third set was barely acceptable.....I remember there was an issue with the lights in them also....fixed this too so mine work just the same as stock....no secondary lights were used....got the bullet lights at a farm store of all places, and the rest is history....it was a time consuming project full of frustration, but the end result was VERY satisfactory to me.....again, thanx all for the kind words, and Ray, I will try to get the yellow Kat out soon(before the snow falls)....I really like the results on it better than "KANDI"..... |
