The Prowler was made for crusin, so what's your Favorite Driving Route in the Prowler? Mine so far have been: 1. Finger lakes in Western New York. Start out in Penn Yan to see some Amish people then head east to Rt 14 which runs along Seneca lake. Head south on Rt 14 toward to Watkin Glen on the way stop at a few wineries along the way. In Watkins Glen cruise down main street over the Old Grand Prix Finish Line and stop for a small hike in Watkins Glen park. Then take Rt 414 north up the east side of the lake to Rt. 79. Stop a long the way at a few wineries. Then head east on Rt. 79 to the end of lake Cayuga lake where the city of Itaca is located. Along your travels you'll pass more than 50 wineries, 100's on B&B, farm stands and beautiful scenary. Prowler's are rarely ever scene in these parts so you'll get the royal treatment and it's really CHEAP to stay & play in the finger lakes region!!
3. In Central Vermont take Rt 4 west of I-87 thru the towns of Quechee, Woodstock, Bridgewater up to Killington during the late summer. Stop at the Quechee Gorge and lunch at the Long Trail Brewery on Rt. 4. Head soutn from Killington on Rt. 100 back east on Rt. 9 to Brattleboro, VT where you can pick up I-91. Great scenary of the small towns, country and coverbridges along the way. ------------------ This message has been edited by spoons on 07-28-2003 at 12:13 PM |

My fav. driving route is any place with a lot of plate glass windows. So I can look over and watch my Kat on motion. This message has been edited by Bcoffman Gray Ghost on 07-28-2003 at 12:42 PM |

Spoons -- You made me nostalgic for upstate NY again. Wife's family lived in Seneca Falls for many years and her sister still lives in the Rochester area and her brother in Geneva. Would love to drive the hills and wine country again. ------------------ |
