I am looking for a new 2001 orange or possibly 2002 Candy Apple Red. I have been negociating with a dealer ( about 600 miles away) for a 2001 orange prowler that he will sell for a good price but would like to find one closer. I live in central Illinois. I watch Ebay and Traderonline on a daily basis but would prefer not to buy a car off of Ebay sight unseen. Also for anyone responding from Illinois that is familiar with Roanoake Motors in Roanoake Illinois I will not deal with them ( long story, not for this post). Thanks for any help and hope the screen name does not offend anyone. (It will be changed after I find a prowler). P.S. also want to find a prowler trailer, preferably orange but I can have it repainted if necessary. This message has been edited by kat hunter on 07-20-2003 at 06:12 PM |

Kat Hunter, first of all welcome to the POA. You came to the right site to find the car you want and to get inside info. Give it 48 hours so that everyone has a chance to read it before you jump on anything. CJ might be able to find you something close, as long as there is still one close by in the colors you want. No one will get offended by your name. We are glad there are future owners out there and that people like the car enough to still want to buy one. Good luck in your quest. |

Kat Hunter: Sounds like you are on the right track. The most important things are finding the right year, color and right deal. I bought mine last July from a dealer in TN and negotiated the cost of the transportion to me in the deal and everything worked out fine, so I wouldn't let the distance bother me. ------------------ |
