Hi guys,

I've just received an email that was suppose from Earthlink account department indicated that my account was not updated and needs to be updated with my credit card number. I called earthlink and they told me it was fraud. Earthlink will send emails to their members email to remind them and have to call in for updates. NOT BY EMAIL. I am glad I've called in. I am sure some of you have known about this fraud, but for everyone else, please confirm with your internet provider...Below is a copy and paste of the email:

Dear EarthLink User
This email is a reminder that your EarthLink account information is not up-to-date. To avoid any interruption to your service including the ability to log onto EarthLink, please update your credit or debit card information through the following form.
If you do not update your credit or debit card information you may no longer be able to use EarthLink.

I keep getting those type from a spam eBay account. They ask for an update to fix their files. They then steal your identity and sell things that they never deliver. I have had 4 in the past month. Report these type of issues to
spoof@eBay.com and forward the entire email.
Thanks for the headsup.
