Seen it on the news the other night. It tells you where motels, gas, and other things are located on your trip exit by exit. Might help some people out.

Your welcome.

I will add my helpful tip. If a gas station is closed you can still buy gas by using a credit card. The pumps are no longer turned off, since they have to be kept "charged". I do it all the time. It might come in handy sometime on a trip, when you are in the middle of nowhere and need gas.

Ed - When you first posted that info,,,long ago, I doubted you. I figured that fire department laws would prevent gas from being pumped without any person on duty incase of an emergency or fire accident. I found out you were right,,,,did I say that ?
Thanks again for the reminder and ever doubting you

Ed & AC:
I hate to admit it, but you are both right.
At most locations, even though closed, you can still pump using the CRINDS (Card Readers In DispenerS).
Some local Fire Marshalls saw this as a way to get around the unattended fueling fire regs and now require the power to be shut down at the gas islands once the c-store is closed. Most Fire Marshalls know this is going on, use common sense and simply turn their heads to what really is a "non-problem".
