Well........there goes the neighborhood...

The local Police Chief paid a visit to Westech Automotive this afternoon thanks to Mr. Usher's Prowler on the dyno. Marty's little Prowler did what superstock Hemis, modified Vipers with open headers and Corvettes (small and big blocks with open headers) weren't able to do...

For the first time in the history of Westech Automotive, local residents summoned the police because of all the noise from Marty's car on the dyno. Norm was still moaning about the $460 fine!

Marty............be REAL careful leaving town, 'cause the police will, no doubt, be watching for you..........

Marty when you get the bill you had better look at the shop supplies number. CJ you know this is just killing Marty, this is the longest week of his life knowing he is so close to picking up his car.

It couldn't be louder than the RUMBLER's 550 HP engine on the dyno with headers only. Or else Bob's not going to have the full 550 he's expecting.

Besides, Norm told me he races with the police chief. Maybe the neighbors are still miffde about all the smoke from the Bar B Que on Saturday!

Marty..........all kidding aside.........it did happen. I'm not sure which Police Chief Norm races with, but the Police Chief of Silver Lake did pay him a visit based on the neighbors' complaints.

Bob personally has had experience with Rambler motors in the past. He used to build big block Chevys which were loud, but a 390 AMX that he did with open headers actually rattled the walls of the garage so badly that every can, bottle, jar, and miscellaneous things not bolted down crashed to the floor! It made one HUGE mess! Norm may be in for a treat.

Marty.... I think the issue is the noise level through your exhaust system. By the time you get to Louisville, you may be deaf, so earplugs may be in order for the trip! According to Norm, the extra compression and cams keeping the exhaust valves open longer really made a difference with no catalysts and your glasspacks.

You be the judge..........just don't end up in front of a judge!
