On Mon I ran out from work (in the Kat)for a couple mins... As I'm driveing the the weather starts looking grim. Then it begins to pour baddly. The wind was gusting 60+ mph and I was thinking.. Of all the times to be in the Kat.... Well it began to hail. I was able to get under a bank drive thru, but not before the car got pelted some. Wow... scarey stuff... I made with out any damage though. That make the 3 time in 6 days it has hailed here in S. FL! Maybe I shouldnt drive the Kat... but I cant stop driving it..LOL ------------------ 94' Mustang Cobra(Power Trip) 00' Trans Am WS6 Ram Air(FOR SALE!) 02' Excursion 4x2 Diesel(Our Beast!) |

Glad you got away without any damage. Had a tornado or two pass over my house last Monday. No damage but sure makes me want to build one of those underground houses. ------------------ |

yeowie! that must have been scary with your garage there Steve! Glad you made a bridge in time there Frank. I hit a hail storm once in South Dakota... left a few golf ball dents on my truck and the bikes I was hauling. |

Frank, I was working in the PBG when the hail storm hit... it's crazy we never get hail in southern FL. Good thing I drove my Nissan Altima (Everyday Runner) to work that day. A guy in mu office had an NSX in the parking lot and he was worried, lucky he had his car cover on. ------------------ This message has been edited by spoons on 03-19-2003 at 08:01 PM |
