I'll have to add pictures after this post. I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer. I have an appreciation for anything mechanical. I love the effort people put into building things like our Prowlers. If there is any doubt that your car is super special, well, this is all I need to see. I was asked to check out a Prowler Frame this week for a member. My Pleasure. I went. I took pictures. I was absolutely amazed. The Aluminum frame that is gorgeous. John

Thank you so much John Stray Cat for going for a look see.. It truly is a thing of beauty and I have seen a few with out the body on them.. This one looks clean and straight. I'm just trying to save a 2001 Silver Prowler and maybe make a Black Tie out of it. Maybe do some different stuff to it, as there never the same with out a good frame. I would like to drive it to a event. You know Road Kill it Kinda Thing, after all it has been wrecked. I'm trying to do this on a NO Budget or should I say a NO MONEY to spend budget.. I have even thought of selling my Trick Trunk even though I want it bad for the Purple car.. But anyway it would be nice to get a good frame for this like Rat Rod Wreck Project.. Hope it's in the cards.. Dear Santa!

I can't upload all the pics as they are too big, but the frame is a thing of beauty. John, how badly is the frame on the car you have bent? What all are you changing on that car? A Valient effort for sure.

John

Looks familiar !!

Frame can be pulled straight. - that is the easy part .
Mine twisted in front of the rear wheels. Rear section stayed true.

Body tub - not so easy - I replaced it along with deck lid and fenders.

What a dream project. I’d love to do something like that. All I need is money, space in the garage, & possibly a divorce. Please document your progress with pictures & keep us posted.
