I am doing a color change on a Kat soon....the car will pretty much be turned into small pieces, and a little custom bodywork done also....has anyone taken the body tub off to repaint or for any other reason...more trouble than it's worth ????.....just curious if it's worth trying to remove it !!!...everything not painted the new color(underside of panels/trunk/engine box) will be blacked out, so I can change the car color again with little work again next year........thanks for any help/ideas...I know SOMEONE out there has done this.... |

Larry Nyle wing did a paint job like that (disassembled) on his orange car. Might check with him. I think he quoted me about 10k for similar job. ------------------ |
