Boost Me Prowler Enthusiast From:Indiana, USA |

Well, I am pretty much ready to start my Prowler search. I’m hoping there is someone here that can help me locate the car I’m looking for. I would like to know if there is someone on this board that can help me locate a new Prowler still at a dealer nearby my home or a late model trade in so I can trade my 2000 Corvette in. I just don’t think I want to deal with the hassle of trying too sell my ‘Vette myself. I have tried selling cars in the past and it is a real pain. So, is there someone here that has access to the dealer network or something? If I could have my choice, I would like to find a 2001 Orange Prowler, but I would consider anything that is available. I would like to find something that has been sitting at the dealership and just never sold and that they want to get rid of. I’m not interested in paying MSRP for a car that is 2-3 years old. I am located in southwestern Indiana (Evansville, Indiana area) so I am relatively nearby Louisville, Indianapolis and Chicago and even St. Louis. Although, for the right car, I would be willing to travel. Again, I want to thank everyone on this board for your help in advance, whatever you can do to help. You can contact me via this board or through e-mail at: robbywilson@hotmail.com |

Boost Me, Welcome to the board. Hope your search ends with success. I’m in the Indy area and am originally from the Jasper area. I can tell you that the Chrysler dealer in Jasper has (at least it’s still showing on their web site) a Mullholland (midnight blue) edition that is new. It’s a 2001. The word is on 2001 there is a $4000 or $5000 dealer rebate in addition to a fair price of at least invoice. Just one option since you down in that area. You’ve come to the right place though. There are others on the board that will be able to provide you with more detailed assistance than I have listed here. Keep in touch if you find one. Best of luck in finding your Kat. ------------------ This message has been edited by whealy on 01-02-2003 at 02:06 PM |

I sold my 2002 Vette to a Chevy dealer, once I saw the 2002 Deep Candy Red at the LA Auto Show last year! My wife and my two kids could not agree what color Prowler to get. Before I bought the Corvette I also liked the Orange Pearl or the Blue, they didnt. So I ended up ordering a Torch red ragtop Vette, I made a mistake. I heard they were thinking of coming out with the Candyapple Prowler but nothing for for sure. I was real lucky not to loose any money selling my Vette so fast, my stepdads GM discount save me. Get the color Prowler you want, its worth the wait!!! This message has been edited by topcat on 01-02-2003 at 02:19 PM |

The January issue of DuPont Registry has an add by a dealer that has two Mulhollands (blue) in stock. Tennessee as I recall. I assume that you looked at the free adds on this site. ~bg |

Wildcat, that is where I bought my cat, McCreary in Fowler. They are very nice people. They are too far away for me to go back for any type of service, but I would like to stop by there sometime just to say hello and show them that my car is still totally stock (except for the mods). By the way, Cavalcade of Customs is this week-end here in Cincy. Are you coming down? I previewed it this evening. It starts tomorrow. No Prowlers, a lot of hot rods and quite a few rice burners. Several nice James Dean look alikes, too. |
