Don't know if this is old news or not, but just saw Radio Shack is selling a radio-controlled Kat (red) about $40. Not a bad replication either.

These are nice but do not include rechargable batteries or a charger which can cost another $30 or $40.

Bought one, rechargable battery and charger is an extra 20.00. It is more purple than red as pictured on the box.

Runs fast though and seems like it is good quality.

Our 3 1/2 year old daughter bought one for her Daddy for the holidays. I can't wait until next week to open it and take it for a spin.
