 This is probably a dumb question since everyone is doing it, but how does one add a photo to the message? |

Kraut - when you post or reply there is paperclip icon for an attachment. It is above the box you type your text in and will allow you to attach a photo from your computer. Keep in mind the image must be no more than 70K so you may ned to resize before you try to attach. Marty ------------------  Driving my Dream |

No, you don't need your own web site but sorry I'm not the one to help you. I occasionally get the picture to come up. Usually I just get a hyper to the picture I want to show so I'm still trying to figure out what I did those few times I got it to work.  ------------------ |

After clicking on the  follow the instructions to the letter and all will be well, make sure there is no spaces in the file name and less than seven letters in the file name and Wayne is also correct, please read all the instructions. |

 You may include an image in your message. It must be 70k or smaller and MUST be .gif or .jpg. Use the "Browse" button to locate the desired image on your computer, once you have it selected click on the "Upload Now" button and you will be given further instructions (Make sure there are NO spaces in the name, stick to a name with 8 characters followed by .jpg or .gif!!). Please make sure the image is no larger than 640x480 resolution for maximum viewing pleasure. Please use this feature for Prowler-related pictures only. Contact POA Admin with any questions or comments. |

now I will try one. Kraut, I look forward to seeing your flamed car in person someday. FYI, if you have a website on the internet, with a photo-then you can try to link it by clicking "properties" when at the photo, then "copy" the location and type or paste it in your post. I hope got that. having it on the hard drive and doing the paperclip works slick--I am doing it now for first time. -eric

The hard drive picture transfer worked for me, once I got some help from the group and figured out how to do it. I don't have a web site, and don't plan to have one any time soon. I'm not much of a computer jock, so some of this stuff is a little too complicated for me. I also just signed on a couple of weeks ago. Maybe we could get together some time, say about half way in between us for lunch or something. I'm retired, so most days are flexible for me. Thanks to everyone for the help, Kraut |

A big thanx to the person that asked this "dumb" question about posting pix...I HAD BEEN WANTING TO LEARN HOW FOR A LONG TIME  ...thanx again to Dan, Gary C and all for enlightening those of us that are not all that computer savvy....PS, to Dan...I saw your directions just AFTER I tried to post my first pix...I thought at first I had caused all that stuff(directions) to appear on the screen....figured I would be banned for life from the board .... |
